On Tuesday, April 29, Heschel’s College Bowl team triumphed in the varsity championship. College Bowl is a trivia competition between Jewish day schools around the Tristate area. The team made it to the playoffs after losing only one game throughout the year.
Heschel’s varsity team consists of senior Sadie Jacobson, and juniors Noah Barnett, Dani Grinker, and Lev Dubler-Furman.
Heschel won the semi-finals against Frisch, dominating both halves.
Then, they advanced to the final match against Haftr. Led by an impressive showing from Grinker, the team won handedly.
Dubler-Furman, captain of the team, said, “It was such an amazing tournament. We put in a lot of hard work and it paid off.”
Congratulations to the Varsity College Bowl team on this impressive win!
