Italian subs are delectable and satisfying, combining all of the different food groups into an unforgettable sandwich. They are a refreshing meal for this spring and summer, perfect to eat at a picnic in the park, and will not disappoint!
Ingredients:
1 Baguette
2 tbsp Deli Dressing
2 leaves of Leaf Lettuce (romaine, arugula, or iceberg lettuce)
6 slices Tomato, sliced thin
¼ cup Red onion, rings, thinly sliced
4 slices Deli Turkey
4 slices Deli Salami
2 slices cheese (dairy free for kashrut)
Instructions:
- Cut the baguette in half
- Toast the halves
- Place the opened roll onto a work surface
- Drizzle dressing onto the bottom half of the roll
- Top with lettuce, tomato, onions, deli meat, and cheese
- Close the roll
- Enjoy!
